Located in York, Pennsylvania, Anstine's Candy has been selling quality, handmade chocolate for almost sixty years.

In the late 1930's, young Anna Belle Anstine started making chocolates as a hobby. She would mix up batches of creams and rich caramels, coat them by hand, and take them to club meetings or give them to friends. In the Fall of 1942, Anna Belle was asked to create a unique, new candy for her Women's Club Annual Bazaar. Her creation was the Rosette Mint... orders poured in.

Anna Belle won first prize at several area competitions, including the York County Fair. Anna Belle and her husband Clarence decided to open a small candy shop in the basement of their home, in 1943.

Today in the same, small shop, their granddaughter Anna and her husband Allen make candy in the same tradition, using only quality ingredients and no preservatives. The centers are cooked and stirred (and stirred and stirred) and rolled by hand.

No two pieces are alike! Each center is coated in pure Milk or Dark Chocolate of the highest grade, derived directly from the cocoa bean. Anstine's uses no artificial or synthetic coatings. They do it the old-fashioned way, using only the best ingredients!
